Underwood is a twice-yearly publication produced as a vinyl LP featuring two writers reading their work. The journal appears in March and September each year and is a limited edition. Born out of a love for contemporary fiction and vinyl records, Underwood works with writers to produce a unique recording of their work. The name Underwood is taken from the typewriter invented by Frank Wagner in 1896. Underwood was founded by writer Nathan Dunne and is published by The Patrick White Memorial Fund. He is the author of Adventures in Capitalism, Beatniks, Corpsing, deadkidsongs, Exhibitionism, Finding Myself, Ghost Story, Hospital, I play the drums in a band called okay, Journey into Space and King Death.
